Hi, Sorry you'll have to scroll these across/up to view, Can any one translate the writing on the reverse of this photo or suggest a location, and whats the weapon the guy with the neck scarf has? thanks Jim.

Hello

I would read it as "Lositza at Minsk, Spring 1944". The weapon is a MG 34 with the folded back bipod.

Thanks I missed it being Minsk altogether!! got the MG 34, its the guy on the left (as you look at the photo) with the neck scarf he has some sort of MPI I think, Is that a mag bag/case over his shoulder or a map case??
