These men belong to a fighting unit as a few of them wear Iron Crosses (2nd class) and as no War Merit Crosses are visible. No one wears a M44 tunic and most of them wear the M43 uniforms. So I think this photo was taken during the spring or the summer of 1943. Armbands can be seen. A better and closer scan could make the identification possible ...

I have seen this photos (similar not equal) in an album on Ebay, time ago, of Wiking Division.....Is possible?
