For FPN 00693 I already mentioned the unit here (letter 3) Betriebsstoff-Verwaltungs-Kompanie 986. The FPN for this unit didn't changed during this period.

Bötefuhr hast Du Zigaretten geschenkt,
er raucht ja gar nicht. Die werde ich
ihm, wenn er bis Donnerstag
kommt, wieder abnehmen. Deine
überströmende Dankbarkeit hat ihn
ja sicher gefreut.
"Komm doch in meinen Arm "...,
....... - oh wie gern Schätzel! 3 Wochen
wird es ab mindestens noch, da ich
jetzt zuerst Knippler, der an Weihnach-
ten mit mir zu Hause war,
fahren lassen will. Hoffentlich klappt
dann alles so wie ich es mir vor-
stelle. Das wäre ja dann so gegen
Pfingsten. Aber wie leicht kann da
ein Strich durchgemacht werden. Nun,
auf jeden Fall freuen wir uns

mal drauf.
Wegen mir brauchst Dir keine Sor-
gen zu machen, wir kommen nicht
hier weg. Wir werden hier noch Ehren-
bürger.
Hat Dir das Erika gesagt, mit dem
25 mtr. vom Feind? Dürfte doch etwas
übertrieben sein. Erleben werden sie
ja bestimmt etwas. Wenn ihnen
nur nichts passiert.
Das war wohl Weber Sepp (?), den Du im
"F...länder" trafst? -
Morgen, wo ich frei habe werde ich noch
den 2. Strumpf kaufen. - Geld hast
Du noch nicht weggeschickt. Ich schrieb Dir
schon 2 mal deswegen. Oder willst
Du mir keines mehr schicken. Brauche
ja eben nicht viel, besonders für Essen.

ganz großer "Esser". Eß Du mir vor
allen Dingen auch fest, schreib mir
ob Du es auch machst.
Neues gibt es sonst nichts. Was sagten
Hammels (?) zum Kaffee u. wie schmeckten
die ...? Du schreibst gar nichts davon.
Mir scheint Du bekommst nicht alle Briefe
von mir, die Deinigen erhalte ich schein-
bar alle. Ich schrieb Dir mindestens jeden
2. Tag. Sind eigentlich die 2 Päckchen jetzt
da?
Jetzt habe ich inzwischen Wild (?) noch ge-
schrieben. Für Dich weiß ich weiter auch nichts,
als daß ich Dich ganz lieb hab.
Hoffentlich hast Du unseren Hochzeits-
tag gut verbracht, wäre da zu gern
bei Dir, meinem Lieb gewesen. In Ge-
danken werd ich es, wie ja täglich, beson-

Mein liebes, treues Mädel!
Es ist 1/4 4 h. Ich muß nämlich
diese Nacht wieder Wache machen, da
wir durch den Urlaub zu wenig
Leute sind. Ich muß von 2 bis früh
wachen, während abwechselnd 1 Kame-
rad draußen Wache hält. Da habe ich
nun ja schön Zeit, meiner Liebsten,
wie ja schon öfters in diesem Krieg
in einem Brief zu gedenken. Ich tue
das um so lieber, da ich auch heute
wieder von Dir Post u. zwar vom
Montag, 20. IV., erhielt. Ich danke
Dir dafür. Vor allen Dingen freut
es mich, daß es bei den Kindern

My dear, faithful girl!
It is a quarter to 4 h. Namely I
have to keep guard duty this night,
as we are too few people because of the
furlough. I have to stand guard from
2 to morning, while one comrade takes
turns outside standing guard. So now
I have a fine time to commemorate my sweetheart
in a letter like already many times before in this war.
I do this all the more, as I received mail from you
today, namely from Monday, 20. April. I thank you
for it. Above all I am glad, that all is going
well with the children.

You gave Bötefuhr cigarettes
he does not even smoke! I am going
to take them away from him if he comes
by Thursday. He probably enjoyed
your lavish gratitude.
"Do come into my arm"..., ...-oh gladly, my sweetheart!
It will take at least 3 more weeks,
as I do want to let Knippler, who spent
Christmas home with me, leave first.
Hopefully then all will work out the way I envision it.
That would be then around Pentecost. But how easy
can that be thwarted. Well,
in any case we are looking forward to it.

Because of me you do not have to worry,
we are not leaving here. We will become
honorary citizen yet.
Was it Erika who told you it, that with the
25 meter from the enemy? Might be exaggerated
quite a bit. They certainly will
experience something. If only nothing happens to them.
It was probably Weber Sepp, which you run into at the "F..länder"?
Tomorrow, when I am off, I will buy the 2. stocking. -
You did not send off any money yet. I wrote to you
already twice about it. Or don't you want to
send me any anymore? Don't need really much,
especially for food. Daily I am benefitting from

pretty big "Eater". First and foremost do eat
a lot yourself, write to me whether you are doing it.
There are no news to report. What did
the Hammels say about the coffee, and how did the ... taste?
You are not writing anything about it.
It seems to me that you are not getting
all the letters from me, the ones from you I seem to get all.
I wrote to you at least every second day.
By the way, did the two parcels arrive yet?
Now I wrote in the meantime Wild also.
For you I don't know anything else besides
that I love you very much.
I hope that you spent our wedding anniversary well,
would have loved to be with you, my sweetheart.
