I am looking for any references dealing with what companies and how many countries were involved in the manufacture of footwear for the Wehrmacht. Also if there are references available stating how the footwear would be made and what it would look like. Any help will be muchly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Boots and Shoes
Hi Rick,
I think a good place to start would be with Bata which was at the time the largest producer of footwear in the world. Besides the factories in Czechoslovakia, during the pre-war period they had established factories in France, Holland, Germany and Poland because of the rise in tariffs during the Great Depression.
Cheers,
John K

Hi John;
Thanks for the info and I'm sorry it took so long to say 'Thank You'. I'll write them and see if they can help me or steer me and the right direction. Again, Thanks Much.
