Hamburg, Germany trip
Anyone been to the Hamburg area? I am actually going to Tornesch, which is short drive north of Hamburg. I am meeting my family, which I have never met before. I am going to do as much ressearch as possible into my family's WWII history. I have a learned small amount, through correspondence, which I have shared with Feldgrau members. Does anyone know of any points of interest in that area for me to visit?

Hallo,
it depends on what you are looking for in Hamburg. Always werth to be visited is the Reeperbahn in Hamburg Saint Pauli (if you are alone)
Next to Hamburg (100 Kilometers away) is "Munster" there you can visit the german Tank Museum, very impressing. In the City of Hamburg you should visit the " Dungeon" and The Harbour. Not far away from the central station you can visit a bombed church with a museum about the air raids in it.
