INformation concerning the SS

Would any of you gentlemen know of any books on Wewlsburg Castle, Externsteine Cultural Center, the nazi submarine pens at Montauk point, or the expeditions to the Antartic?

I guess there is a book by Jost W. Schneider about the Wewelsburg near Paderborn.

I don't know of any information on Wewelsburg all I do know is that Himmler inteded that wewelsburg should be set up as independant ss substate within the reich with the castle itself as his personal headqaurters is this right?-Peace

My understanding of Wewelsburg is that Heinrich intended it more to be his own version of Camelot, complete with the big round table. The only photos I've seen showed a room that was supposed to house the ashes of the creme-de-la-creme of the SS. I can't say for sure about the above 'sub-state' reference, but I do know that he had a very idealized, romantic pipedream in mind for the castle after Germany won the war.

was'nt there also some reference made on the subject of wewelsburg that himmler was given to occult practices as well, and to this end was to become part of the 'mystique' of wewelsburg?-peace
