After quite a long time without air attacks, we had one today. There is damage at the rail station. We have broken windows. Warnings until the early morning

On the 25th, I received a letter from M. F. about Paris. Wrote right back.
Air attacks from 11 pm – 4 am with some breaks in between. Training and target practice. More air attacks at 4 pm, bombs in quarters area and yards.
January 27, Wednesday
Air attack from 5 pm-2 am. 6 bombs. Everybody is tense. People walking around. Soup stays in the basement.

Please keep it coming.
It is very informative to see the day to day life of an individual at war. Due to the nature of media coverage, most people seem to think it is all action and heroics. More typically life for a soldier was one of tedium and repetition, with a few intense moments.
