Malmedy Massacre

I understand that some of the men responsible for the above were sentenced to death ( I seem to recall several pictures of the trial, including the sentencing of a young Lt to death).
Were all these sentences commuted please? If so, why?

Dont forget the IRA was and is a Marxist organisation. It sought to throw the British out of Northern Ireland but also to overthrow democracy in Eire and unite North and South under a single party Marxist government.

There is a small reference in "It Never Snows in September" by R J Kershaw to German female auxiliaries being withdrawn from Holland during 1944 due to the advance of the allies. Nevertheless, at least one female was captured by the British at Arnhem and at least one killed during the figh...

foreign volunteers

I have read many interesting posts here but I am sure I have read somewhere about George Washington Legion for American SS volunteers. Was this incorrect or perhaps it was planned but noone joined?
Also, of all the foreign units, which units accepted female members please?
