Last message from stalingrad

Was it sent by morse code to berlin? What did it said? Thanks julio. Ps i remember having read it was sent from a small fighting unit officer, concerning thay had therussians a few yards in front, no bullets left, and a salute to germany and to his father, is it correct?

Quite some time there was a TV broadcast. World at war or so, that covered the last message from Stalingrad.
The commentator however said that it was a fake, sent from inside the German lines. I don't know his source. But i heard/saw the reportage.
Just a memory.
