Hi, I am looking for some help identifing three officers from the LAH's Siginals Battalion in September/ October 1943.
The first officer seems to be a Hauptsturmfuhrer. I do not think that he looks like Eugen Metz, and I think that Metz was a Sturmbannfuhrer at this time.According to my research that would leave 1. the c/o of the Fernsprech Co., HSF Ernst Hermanns or 2. the c/o of the light siginals group HSF Adolf Peteren.

The other two officers would be OSF or USF and should be a part of the HSF's unit. From other photographs, I think USF Uibelhack can be ruled out.

Re: Help Identifing 3 LAH Siginals Officers from 1943
These photographs come from a small group that I own. They seem to be part of Albert Frey's re-enforced First PzGdr Regiment during the anti-partizan campaign in Istria in September and October 1943. If anyone is interested in seeing them, I will be glad to post them. Just to rule out Metz and Uibelhack, I will post a picture of them from Rudolf Lemann's (sp?) Leibstandarte in Bild
