Under which KSTN did the above vehicle get issued and which unit would have had them , was it the Pzjager kompanies or was it heavy kompanies of PzGren Bn's.

Does anyone know how many if any were issued to the 12th SS for the Ardenne battles?

the Sd.Kfz. 251/22 were supposed to be issued to Panzer divisions for the
a) Pz.Gren.Btl.(gp.) as (T.E.) schw.Kan.Zug (7,5 cm) (gp)(fG): K.St.N. 1125 (gp)(fG) v. 1.11.1944 = 6 Sd.Kfz. 251/22 replacing the standard Sd.Kfz. 251/9
b) Pz.Jg.Abt. as Pz.Jg.Kp.(SPW)(fG): K.St.N. 1148 (fG) v. 1.4.1945 = 9 Sd.Kfz. 251/22
c) Pz.Aufkl.Abt. in a gem.Pz.Aufkl.Kp.(fG): K.St.N. 1162 f (fG) v. 1.4.1945 including 3 Sd.Kfz. 251/22

Reality however looked a bit different sometimes as you can see when you follow this link:

As you can see the 12. SS-Pz.Div. did not field any Sd.Kfz. 251/22 before February 1945.
