This SS-FHA document from April 1944 announces that the 16 KJL will take place at Braunschweig from 15 July to 15 December 1944.

For most graduates there is no officer Personalakte, except for the Ukrainian officers and then it is only a Führerkarte. This document confirms that Roman Ciolko was promoted to Untersturmführer on 17.3.45 consistent with the promotion date found in other files.

The back side of Ciolko's Führerkarte confirms the dates of the class which was actually held at Posen-Treskau due to the bombing of the Braunschweig site.

Re: 16./17. Kriegs-Junker-Lehrgang
These graduates were already Standarten-Oberjunkers when most were assigned to branch training schools for the period 3.January to 17.March 1945. (Mike Melnyk found this very useful document for me) I´m not sure when these men were promoted to Standarten-Oberjunker, but when I check the records of earlier classes I find that graduates of the 13.KJL at Braunschweig were promoted to St.OJ. on 21 June 1944 for the class ending on 24 June 1944 and graduates of the 15.KJL at Klagenfurt were promoted to St.OJ on 20 September 1944 for the class ending on 30 September 1944.

A document from 14.March 1945 showing these graduates as Untersturmführers already, even though their date of promotion is given as 17.March 1945 on their Führerkartes.

Strange that he school isn’t mentioned as located in ‘Posen-Treskau’ on this last document.
Can it he that SS-Ustuf. Georges de Vriesere (°07.08.1923) was also a participant of the 16. Kriegs-Junker-Lehrgang?
Thank you very much,
Michaël

Note on the next page where several men had not yet been promoted to Untersturmführer and the man at the bottom was assigned to the SS-Polizei Division.

For most graduates of the 16 and 17 Kriegsjunkerlehrgang there is no officer file to be found in the NARA SSO microfilm. But sometimes an officer Personalakte can be found for a few officers who completed some of the specialty courses. Here is a list of graduates from the SS-Panzerjäger (Sturmgeschütz) Schule.

Re: 16./17. Kriegs-Junker-Lehrgang
The Panzerjäger officer list was found in the Personalakte of Untersturmführer Michael Mielach. He was a graduate of the SS-Junkerschule Braunschweig at Posen-Treskau and had earlier served in Rgt. "Deutschland" and the SS-Sturmgeschütz Abteilung "Das Reich". There were 7 other pages of documents in Mielach's Personalakte and I will display them here.
