Obermusikmeister a.D. Wilfried Majowski

Can anyone provide details regarding the service of Obermusikmeister a.D. Wilfried Majowski? He led an ensemble in the 60’s (and perhaps earlier and later) titled “die Bückeburger Jäger” that made several recordings on the Telefunken label. At least two LP’s were released on the “London” label in the U.S, under the titles “German Cavalry Marches” and “German Hunting Marches.” “London” was the label of the American subsidiary/affiliate of Decca label. As the LP liner notes mention that Majowski had mastered the art of playing the kettledrums while mounted on horseback, I suspect he had been in a Trompeterkorps (Kavallerie, Artillerie, Nachrichtenabteilung).
