HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!
Well, rather an American holiday, but even my Turkish-American friend chuckled when I described it as a holiday wherein one sacrificed a turkey and then cussed his family out.........
Sort of a holiday that combines the best food with family turmoil......
Be Well All!!!

Re: Thanksgiving...
I slept most of the day, then got up and ate a light dinner. This bug what's trying to kick my arse doesn't approve of me eating much.
Then later, I went to work.
My eldest got his first taste of reality, though. Stocker at K-Mart, he had to work yesterday afternoon, and most of today! Poor laddie!
I hope everyone else's holiday was a tad more enjoyable than mine!

Geesh Tom, still under the weather? You should live a healthier life, like mine. You know, a pack of cigarettes per day and no more than a liter of rum a week. Oh, and pills are good too.........

Re: Thanksgiving...
I wonder if my health plan at work will cover such a prescription?

Re: Thanksgiving...
Hey Tom:
You've got kids; having them diagnosed as AD/HD is as easy as pie; then you take the drugs instead of them!! They reportedly "speed you up". Believe me, it is a growth industry here in the States, and this is the way you look after you take a handful Best of luck.

Re: Thanksgiving...
A friend in Britain sent me these comments recently.
"Hope Thanksgiving goes well - we don't celebrate Thanksgiving; I suppose in early November we should be celebrating "Good Riddance" on the day they set sail from British shores for the "New World"...."
There may be some sense to what he says.
