I voted for Timothy Dalton. His performance as James Bond was darker, more grittily realistic and truer to the original character as portrayed in Ian Fleming's novels.

Best regards.

O I dunno! He made an EXCELLENT Prince Barin of Mongo! Just about his level of Number Two Stooge LOL

Has to be Connery; pretty good in Dr. No....not so polished in From Russia With Love - but that was a slightly cheap sequel as the whole Bond wagon train hadn't quite swung into full momentum, but right on form again in Goldfinger and On Her Majesty's Secret Service (have a soft spot for the latter, am a big Ken Wallis and Little Nellie fan!!!)

P.S. Lazenby was a tw@t - AND a REALLY bad actor! (Oh dear, I can't take the bad reviews, I'm off home to Australia....)

Brosnan was just TOO slick and polished; Connery's sense of menace underneath the exterior was a lot more plausible.

David. Don't bother it's diabolical. Bond has no Charisma, there's little plot, poor script, lots of 'FX' & Xplojuns, that's all. :(

Worst Bond movie by far.

Even the indifferent original was better.
Thanks. Dave.

I've seen Daniel Craig in a lot of things up to now; the ONLY thing he was any good in was as Geordie in "Our Friends in the North" (mind you, he was BRILLIANT in it!) Everything else has been dross; but he's the only piece of polishable-up British Beefcake there was for the part. Clive Owen hadn't a chance (and he's an even worse actor LOL)

I'm gonna draw flak for this, but I voted for Roger Moore. Don't get me wrong, I did like Connery! I just happened to like Moore's suave, polished air that he had. Hard to fluster. Of course, I grew up watching The Saint, too, so that opinion may be slightly biased.

Then again, I had the hots for Emma Peel a long time ago, too! Woo-hooo!

Moore was good, although I voted for Connery.

Best film, either Live & let die or Man with the golden gun, or Goldfinger.
Never could decide!
Thanks. Dave.

The best Bond?? The best Bond????

There is only one Bond!! Sean Connery!

OK, sorry for that but Connery is one of my favourite actors and all the other fellows that tried to portray 007 don't even make it to my Top 100 list. Besides that I'm also a sucker for originals and British 1960's movies.

Timothy Dalton is my favourite after Connery. The rest........suck.

Emma Peel!! Man Appeal - M. Appeal - Emma Peel. How true, a soothing sight fore sore eyes. Ten years old and madly in love I was :D
