Well, guess the intruder should have known better than to choose a
"Torni" mans home!

I know totally out of context, but interesting never the less.

The London Ambulance Service sent this circular to ambulance crews. A former 7 RHA mate of mine showed it to me:
Subject: : Important safety notice

Security Warning -

We have received a warning from the London Ambulance Service of activities in their area. Whilst the below behaviour is not common place in our area I have spoken with Greater Manchester Police and their risk assessment of the action is to circulate it as a potential'
The London Ambulance service have units closely associated with the
Police based in South London who are basically Fighting Gang Crimes. The 'street gangs' in London (particularly South London at present, but it is sure to spread) have initiation tasks which new gang members have to carry out to be admitted to the 'gang'. The latest craze is to drive around, deliberately with no lights on their cars. The first person who 'flashes' them, points at them or sounds their horn at them, has to be followed by that new gang member in their car, who then has to fire a shot into that vehicle with no regard as to who is inside.

Our official instruction is that if we see a vehicle with no lights on,
we are NOT to 'flash' it etc. and the advice to friends and family is
that you should ignore any vehicles you see without lights. I would ask
that you pass this info on to all your family, friends and colleagues
and who knows, it may save a life.
As we can see, the confiscation of guns from thousands of sports shooters and collectors after people like Hamilton and, earlier, Ryan, went postal has vastly improved the situation in the UK. Now police can focus on all these street gangsters driving about with carloads of Glocks and Kalashnikovs. In the meantime, do not flash any cars driving about with their headlamps off if you live in London, even if they contain absent-minded grannies or drunken doctors.

Of course arming all "good" people would save this above and all other problems. We will then shoot and not flash all vehicles with no lights on. I am thankfull that I don´t live in the world you want to have.

Christoph, I think the point here is not arming all citizens - but that the police should be doing their job better rather than having to tell the emergency services how to look after themselves...!

As a motorcyclist, I can assure you that I would certainly subject car drivers with no lights on at night to at least a kneecapping for the first offence and summary execution if caught a second time. Car drivers using cell phones on the move would get a bullet in the brain straight away...after being forced to stop the car so minimise the risk to other roadusers. Which is why I do not carry a firearm when I go out. Because I am a responsible person. And responsible people like me should be armed, because we are responsible.

well, since we all know you're not armed, how about supplying us with your address and a list of all high-end electronics items you own. I could use a new CD player. I'll let you keep all of your "Falco" collection....

I'm always a little worried that people want to take my guns away. Why would they? I've never shot anyone (in civilian life) and my weapons are a very necessary sort of "reset button" on the consitution. Can't be free if you are unarmed and your masters are armed. In the US its supposed to the reverse - but not for much longer... :(

It is my duty to be armed. And since the decline of western culture it has become a necessity.

I have to admit - while I carry legally now I in no way feel compelled to stop carrying because some treasonous, power hungry weasel of a politician says I can't. For those of you who feel no need for a weapon - fine. Just don't push your opinions on me using the sword of the state.

My Jewish allergist told me once that guns wouldn't have protected the Jews in Germany. I told him he was nuts. Shoot the first hundred or so Gestapo worthies who come to your door - the next hundred won't be so enthusiastic. (note - works with NKVD as well!)

What's really hilarious is that Bush, Clinton and the rest of that rabble in Washington a) want me to disarm, and b) prattle on continuously about the so called terrorist threat - they want me to be in fear, and to rely upon them (those useless wankers) for my safety. Sure...in a million years when hell has frozen over! :D

cheers

Then he mustn't have been aware of THIS...
There are still 40,000 Jews in Berlin and despite the heavy blows dealt them they are still insolent and aggressive.
March 11, 1943, Goebbels' Diaries....!

Between that and three failed round-ups they were making themselves quite a headache to the authorities in Berlin during the war!
