I've read about kampfgruppe Wesel in james lucas "battle group!". It was a unit composed of sniper experts. The halted the russians at a bridgehead on the Oder. Does anyone know anything more about this unit?

I will check , and send answer , I read about this "battle group" but I do not remember. I'm interesting in battles near Oder river.
