Check it out guys:

It's called Island at War. Episode 2's on tonight, so everyone watch it! Then we can complain about the technical innacuracies like the German Army geeks we are!

I saw the final episode (missed the others) here, in Abu Dhabi, last week. The uniforms looked pretty authentic to me -even the Coastal Policeman's uniform looked authentic (not sure whether the gold collar cord was correct though -any Polizei uniform experts out there?).

I saw Island at War on Maryland PBS. It's a good show, better than most television in the states. I've also seen the DVD, other than two bits of nudity which should have been edited out, I thought it was wonderful.
The uniforms are as accurate as my books show. The scenery is lovely.

I especially enjoyed the characters and their relationships with each other.

I liked it too

Hi Guys:
I saw it here in the States as well and liked it too. I was amazed to find that there is another FOX out there acting as well (he plays the Luftwaffe pilot). I have always enjoyed Edward and James Fox. I was sorry to see the series end. Best wishes.
