I AM IN THE PROCESS OF OBTAINING THE KNIGHTS CROSS AND PRELIM DOCUMENT FROM OBERST WILHELM BOECK WHO BY THE WAY IS STILL VERY MUCH ALIVE.
HE WAS CDR OF ARTILLERIE RGT 176 76TH INFANTRY DIVISION
WHOULD ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD GET ANY PICTURES OF HIM

What an Opportunity! Have you considered returning this award to The rightful owner who probably would be so appreciative to have returned to him something that he took tremendoous risks to win and was probably stolen from him at the end of the war. You probably would maKE HIM A VERY HAPPY MAN. That would be truly a wonderful thing to do and would far exceed any monetary value of the award. I am sure you could get his phone # from the internet site "Das Telefonbuch".
