Some time ago I bought a little album with 30 pics. These were taken in Idar-Oberstein between December (?) 1939 and (at least) Februari 1940. The pics show men who were building a wooden bridge. I've posted a set of ten pics on my FB-page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mijn-opa- ... 2016773213 Anyone has a clue what kind of uniforms these guys are wearing? It seems to me these guys are TeNo-men, but I'm not 100% sure.
If needed for identification, I can scan the pics. I've deleted them from my laptop already, that's why I added the link on FB. Sorry for that.
And if you think Holland is small, so is Germany. Coming summer I'm spending two weeks near Idar-Oberstein. I will take the album with mee, look up the places where the pictures were token and write an article for Then and Now. I hope they want to publish it, but that's all of later concern.
