I gather that "from 1940" this vehicle was issued as the Zugführerwagen for infantry platoon leaders, presumably Panzergrenadiers.
Was it present in the invasion of France because I understand there were very few 251s available to infantry at all?
How were the MG34 & PzB38 I read about (http://www.wwiivehicles.com/germany/hal ... fz-251.asp) mounted or was this part of the HQ section?

sdkfz 251 series was only used widespread in June 1941 when German attacked Russia.
