I am trying to get information about a Kai Schmidt. He was born in Apenra in Denmark. He was in a training school for fighter pilots in Schleissheim near Munchen. He worked for Lufthansa, then as a Flying Instructor for the Air Ministry and finally, when war broke out posted to the secret "Gartenfeld Squadron" as a pilot. He may later have been working for the Central Photographic Section in Berlin.
Does anyone know something about him?

Kai Schmidt was probably a Major in the Luftwaffe and he might have been working in Berlin later in some department responsibel for reconaissance.
