I am trying to locate any information in regard to Marine-Füsilier-Bataillon 2's defence of the Aller River.
I have read "No Triumphant Procession", visited the Aller River and have interviewed a number of No.6 Commando (1st Commando Brigade) who fought them for the river crossing and who comentated on what good soldiers they were.
Any help will be gratefully received.

Excellent question and I wish I could help you more! I would have suggested "No Triumphant Procession" as well but since you already have read it that's not much help either. I can check some of my oob/unit history resources tonight if that would help but it sounds like you've done a fair amount of research already.
