Trnslation of Unit info on Uncle in Das Reich frm Nat'l Arch

Post by J. Buck »

Hello, Could anyone tell me something about the units mentioned on my Great Uncle's dossier from Nat'l archives in Washington. It states the following: Stamm-Einheit: 3./SS-T-Inf. E. Batl. I, from June 15, 1940 to June 25, 1940 then 11./SS-T-I.R.2 until Aug 18, 1940 then to 3./SS-T-Inf. E. Btl. i, then on Aug 25, 1940 to I/SS-Rgt. 11 until Feb 2, 1941 then to SS-Kradsch. Btl., SS-Div. Reich/Stab. Then in another area called Urlaub:T.B.29.12.41/SS-N.E.A. Nurnberg.........Can anyone give me any background info on these units besides Kradschutzen Batl which I already Know about. My uncle ended up in AA2(recon) of Das Reich and survived as a decorated Unterscharfuhrer at the ripe old age of 23. Any help much appreciated, Thanks, John
