That's certainly wrong. My grandfather joined the 3SS TK in April 1940 without beeing a KZ guard before. So not all could have been former KZ guards at least until 1941. Point taken Brian67. I'm sorry about that mistake. No problem. Was your grandfather transferred from the SS-V division to the Tot...

Re: SS Sturmbannfuhrer Dr Schneider
Do you know his first name? Schneider is very common in Germany and so it's not easy to find something about him without his first name.jotka24 wrote:Have somebody infos about Dr Schneider, SS Sturmbannfuhrer, 1944-(1945) in Breslau, after captured by American, near Garmisch Partenkirchen

Re: Felgrau.com_SS Totenkopf Division
Guys: I have been trying to get some feedback regarding a paragraph that appears in felgrau.com. It is about the actions of the SS Totenkopf division at Le Paradis. Re: Religion and the SS
Hello, I remember reading a book from the Time-Life series The Third Reich , called The SS and it described that Himmler, among others, endorsed some style of pagan religion along old Germanic tradition and even forced SS members to renounce Christianity and take up this religion.
