Now it won't let me in again today.

I have set the default remember my username & password, but it hasn't.
Thanks. Dave.

I just tried logging on myself, David. It's working fine, so maybe something wrong with your PC ?

If the problem persists then maybe contact Wendel and see if he can issue you with a new user name etc. - just a suggestion.

Best regards,

John

Benoit, its down at the minute, Marcus has been upgrading the site over the weekend as you know, and I see its down undergoing a "database fix" at the minute

It's certainly a crappy forum (technically speaking). I've had nothing but trouble with it since it turned green.

I can't get it to remember my password now, and have to get a new one assigned everytime I visit. I'm tempted not to bother anymore, it's not like I can't use any of the other WWII fora I belong to. (Although Tanks in WWII isn't very good either, after it's change, or DAK forum now I come to think of it.
Why can't these forums chiefs get it into their skulls, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Perhaps this dumb forum chief can shed some light on that: phpBB2 (i.e. the old software used on both AHF and TIWW2) has a lot of shortcomings. Now that phpBB3 has been released, there will be no security updates for phpBB2. Consequently, any board using phpBB2 will most likely be hacked as soon as the next exploit for phpBB2 is found. You might as well get used to the new layout, because most phpBB forums will probably change to the new software within the next few months.

Ooops!

Shame the new stuff isn't better though.

I've also edited my original post in case it was offensive.

It just takes a little getting used to. I've been using it for a month before the move of TIWW2, and in that time, I have grown to like the new layout much better than the old one.

So what's the problem(s) with AHF? Do you know?
Thanks. Dave.

Uhhhh, no offense to Marcus Wendel, who has done more for the study of the Axis in WWII than anyone except Jason, but, I have to say that the layout of the new AHF is the ugliest I've ever seen.

AHF, IMHO, needs a Feng shui Moderator..... :D  :D
