I think the other positions were held by:

Ia: Obstlt. i. G. Blümke
Kdr. IR 67: Obstlt. von Schellwitz (replaced Obst. Macholz)
Kdr. IR 68: Obst. Brabänder

Hello tigre, as far as my limited knowledge goes; 23 ID was in 4th Army's (Heeresgruppe Nord) reserve throughout the Polish campaign...

best,

Greetings “tigre” – :D

I have the same information as “Nibelung” above.

Also I have noted gem.Art.Abt.602 (one “Batterie 10-cm Kanonen” and two “Batterien 15-cm schwere Feldhaubitzen”) attached to 23 Inf.Div. for the start of the campaign (FWIW).

Hope this helps with your puzzle.

If the brigade Königsberg is the same as the Festungskommandantur (which I suspect as they are listed in the book : Heereseinteilung 1939 as being part of the german forces) then the commanders are :

Königsberg
Generalmajor Albrecht Brand
Ia: Hauptmann von Amsberg

Lötzen:
Generalmajor Otto Ottenbacher
Ia : Hauptmann Markert

Netze:
Generalmajor Eccard Freiherr von der Gablenz

Goldap:
Oberst Hans-Erich Nolte
