Q: Many pictures that I have seen (Both moving and still) from the Afrika Korps are in colour and are of relatively good quality. Is there any specifc reason behind it, did they have better technology as in Cameras and such, was Rommel a person who liked to make "Documentary" films, or did...

From my perspective, I find it Ironic as my grandfather was a german American, who fought in Africa against the Afrika Korps... I wonder how he felt. I'm American, but I sympathize with all sides of the war, as they were common people; father's, brother's, husbands... etc. I remember me and my fathe...

I'd be delighted to see a WWII "epic" where the Americans aren't shown, and none of the actors cast are Americans. I too would be enthused, Of course that would be the only way to exclude popular american actor's as I couldn't very much well see Mel Gibson or John Travolta playing as a Ge...

I think it's pretty good, I was amazed to see how well it ran as compared to Medal Of Honor and the graphics are so much more better. Although it makes me mad to koin a server where it's filled with "veteran" players and you die without even knowing where the person was...

I will tell you why they portray them badly, it's quiet easy really. No one likes them, I have no problem with the whermacht or any german regular forces (Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine etc...) However most people are un-educated, they think they were all banner waiving, nazi skin-heads. Most were the same...

I was looking for any information about German food, both canned rations and hot cooked meals on the front line, any help would be appreciated.

I often ask myself, and tell others that the German soldier was the same as an allied soldier, they fought for something they believed in, they fought for one another. When I look at veterans day, I honour all veterans who have risked life and limb for their country, and their friends.
