2nd Leichte Dv // 7th PzDv bn locations in Germany?

Post by ra stefanowicz »

I am trying to trace the history of Heer units that passed through the German town of Bad Kissingen, Manteuffel Kaserne. I have a source claiming that elements of the 2nd Leichte Dv (( PAK bn )) and / or the 7th Krad Bn and 7th AufKlg bn were briefly at this location. Can anyone please cite a source to confirm any of this. Thanks as always ...

Thank you very much .... Technically, would these units be considered part of the 2nd Leichte? :D

The 2nd San.Ers.Abt was based within Bad Kissingen.

Hello and that you for the help. Could you please check your source of that Sani unit? I believe Tessin reports this as the 13th Sani at Manteuffel during the war years training field medics for the 13th PzDv. If I have this fact wrong, the thesis must have a major overhaul!!? :(
