Polish paras
I'm curious about the Free Polish paras of WWII. If I'm not mistaken, the Free Polish Forces had fielded an airborne brigade (?) and this brigade had taken part in Market Garden and maybe Overlord. Did they conduct any other airborne assaults during the war and also, how did these paras compare to their Allied and Axis counterparts?

Hi Frei.
The Poles were excellent troopers, but were often not given the respect they deserved.
General Stanislaw Sosabowski's 1st Polish Abn Bde was dropped during Market Garden. Sosabowski is/was probably the most famous Polish Airborne entity in it's history, and is definantly a sad story to hear. He's one of far too many commanders that were typically screwed over during the war (on both sides).
Polish Airborne forces (not including Polish commandos and other operatives using airborne platforms) fought in Holland, Belgium & Germany (and probably some others I am forgetting).
