What is the rank of Maat and what branch was it used in?

This is the rank equivalent to 2nd and 3rd Class Petty Officers. The 3rd Class is "---maat" and the 2nd Class is "Ober----maat"

a maat and an obermaat fall between the rank of stabsgefreiter abd feldwebel
go here and look at pages 44-49 covers all the navy ranks. the other pages deal with trades etc
