Hello,

I research information on the equipment , the system of parachute employed for jumps to very low altitude, sixty meters.
Stagings of parachutists of 2. Fallschirm-Jäger -Division in Brittany on the airfield of Saint Brieuc and Gaël. 22 May to 28 May 1943.

Hello,
I am not aware of a special "shotgun-jump" model of parachute being used by the German paratroops.
Veterans confirm that the jumps on Narvik were made from as low as 80 meters, but that was as low as you could possibly go if you wanted the jump to be safe.

What is your exact question regarding 2nd FJD in 1943?

Hello
I read an article somewhere about a particular design called an Eschner Chute.
I will see if I can locate the article and give you the details.

Best wishes Ron C.
