Vitebsk - Feb 44: Sgt Paulik Grenadier-Rgt. 528; Sgt Degener Grenadier-Rgt. 431; Major Schutte 131 Inf Div

Hi
Does anyone have any information on the awards, I think all three were Knights Crosses, for action around the Noviki bridgehead south-east of Vitebsk on or around 7th Feb 1944:
- Major Ludwig Schutte 131st Infantry Division
- Sergeant Heinrich Degener Grenadier-Rgt. 431
- Sergeant Josef Paulik Grenadier-Rgt. 528
All three are mentioned pp 94-95 in the new English translation of Vitebsk: The Fight and Destruction of Third Panzer Army by Otto Heidkämper.
Am currently in Vitebsk looking at the battlefields and curious to know more about these men's actions here to better understand what happened.
