Does anyone know where the battle HQ of 352nd ID (Dietrich Kraiss) was on June 6th 1944? I'm guessing it was Bayeux...

Well, it was at Littry on the 11th June, but they may have had to shift since 6th June. This is from situation map of 7th Army.

Thanks. I've got the c-of-s' memoirs referring to the CP all through D-Day, without actually saying where it was. Frustrating!
