A Bf-109E of Sch.G 1 after an emergency landing!
The I. Gruppe Formed on Jan 13, 1942 in Dugino from II.(Sch)/LG2 with:
Stab I./Sch.G.1 from Stab II.(Sch)/LG2
1./Sch.G.1 from 4./LG2
2./Sch.G.1 from 5./LG2
3./Sch.G.1 from 6./LG2
Its first commander was Maj Alfred Druschel, Jan 13, 1942 - Mar 1943. By Apr 15, 1942 was relocated in Werl till May of that year.
