...but as you can see, the ramifications of this are growing larger...HILL COUNTRY VILLAGE, Texas - A New York-based bookseller accused of buying stolen, historical Holocaust documents will be coming to a San Antonio court.
The Mazal Holocaust Library located in Hill Country Village has filed a million dollar lawsuit against Dan Wyman for at least 25 percent of the remaining historical items that have not been recovered. This after 21-year-old Mansal Denton, a former library intern, was charged with stealing thousands of dollars worth of documents from the library.
Mazal family attorney, Elliot Cappuccio, says Wyman sold the documents on the internet for profit.
Mazal's daughter, Aimee Skillin, says sadly her father passed away from cancer and never had the peace of seeing his collection complete again.
Skillin said, “I think my father would of wanted that the truth be shown and admitted.to us that is the most important thing.”
Wyman's attorneys are expected to be back in court tomorrow to ask for a new trial. Denton, the intern, is awaiting trial
