A crewman of this Pzkw II Ausf. A / B / C No. 622 is working to rectify the failure, while is being observed by an SS soldier armed with a MG-34 (possibly the tank belonged to the PR 7 and the soldier to the SS Standarte -Regiment-Deutschland)...............

Poland - Fall 1939! Parading through the village.

We see that both tanks carried the classic white cross used in the Polish campaign and on the turret first the numbers followed by the white cross. AFAIK the tanks could belong to the PR 2 (the PR 1 had the white cross first and then the numbers) - 1. Pz and the town could be Sochaczew?..........................

Poland - Fall 1939! A le. Division in action.

Here the 8 wheeled armored vehicles in action within an armored/light Division in Poland 1939. Sd Kfz 231 schwere panzerspähwagen, Sd Kfz 232 Funkwagen y Sd Kfz 263 Funkwagen. AFAIK each armoured reconnaissance squadron consisted of a squadron headquarters containing one radio command vehicle and four armoured cars fitted with radio; one heavy troop of six eight/six-wheeled armoured cars; and two light troops, each of six four-wheeled cars. The heavy troop could be further sub-divided into three two-car sections, and the light troops into two three-car sections, provided each section contained at least one car fitted with radio. See below.....................
