Hi guys I think I read somewhere something about German nationals in the UK being put in camps during the war. Does anybody know if this was the same in the states? Or how German nationals were treated.

Thanks.

Certainly the Japanese nationals were interned in the US, and the UK foreign nationals on the Isle of Man, but the vast majority of german-Americans were full "carded" imigrants AFAIK. I don't know if there was an Internment programme for them, or just increased FBI vetting.
