Great site
Hello Annelie:
What a great site! I cannot think of more important work. I am thrilled that there are people who spend their valuable time discovering the fates of missing soldiers from any country; it is the least we, as human beings, can do.
I am reminded of a newspaper article I once read about a Japanese soldier who had fought in New Guinea on the Buna Trail, who survived the war and made multiple trips back to New Guinea and the dense jungle where his comrades had been killed, to find, return, and bury their remains according to Shinto rites. That kind of dedication to one's comrades is awe inspiring and worthy of emulation. Best wishes.

Sorry about that John, maybe tomorrow those trees can get the
attention you planned?
There was an interesting article about ebay and the ID tags.
Unfortunately, mein Deutsch nicht sehr gut.
Its something I thought should be translated and posted
for those collectors of ID tags to give them something to
think about?
I think its a great site also.
