XVII Fleiger Ersatz Batallion

Post by Nowak »

My Father was in the above Luftwaffe regiment.
I have his Soldbuch etc.
I am searching for information on the uniform he would have worn, batallion bedge/insignia etc.
For his service in the above regiment, is he entitled to any military award/decoration?

What was his occupation in the Luftwaffe? Cook, mechanic, pilot, Doctor....? Also, what was his rank? Can you please make some scans of the book and place them here for review? This would help... A LOT!

Regards
Paul

Are you sure of the unit. XVII will refer to Wehrkreis XVII (Military district 17).

If you are able to send a scan of the Soldbuch we can check for sure.
