Thanks Jan, which Keiling is this? In the 1944-45 Ranglist theres no first initial, likewise in the Das Deutsche Heer of 1939. Thanks for the info!

Thanks again!

Question for everyone here. I might have a chance to buy this 3 volume unfinished work by Keilig. How does one search in it?

Example, you want to find any info on an officer named Reindl. Or, you want to find who the officers were in the 96 Artillerie Regiment.

Thanks. Im just trying to understand if this would be useful for thie kind of research.

You would have to show a big patience as the Personenregister was never finished and is so the missing part of this documentation

By the way , the Stellenbesetzung that are given are on a slightly higher level , Divisional staff , Korps Staff , the Armeen and Heeresgruppen , the different sub-offices of OKH and OKW and so . On a regimental level you will not find so much

Thanks Jan Hendrik

Are you saying this is not useful source for someone who needs to locate officers below rank of General?

No , that are not my words

But if you are seeking for Stellenbesetzungen lower than the level of Divsional Staff you would regret it
