Fallsch. San. Abtl. 7 waffenfarbe

All,

I need some help. Would "Fallsch. San. Abtl. 7" wear the blue waffenfarbe of medical troops or would they wear the yellow waffenfarbe of the flight troops?

They wore cornflower blue waffenfarbe. Some of the regimental medics attached to the unit wore yellow waffenfarbe as they were not members of a medical unit per se. Hope that makes sense.

I don't think he's 're-enacting' anything in Afghanistan, William. At a rough guess, I'd say he was there with the British Army. I'd also say that whatever library facilities they have, waffenfarbe references might be hard to find.

Thanks for all the information. I am in the US Army stuck here. I am going to start reenacting when I get back to the states, and wanted to do a FJ medic impression. You are right any kind of good reading material is hard to come by here.
