Hello Allen!

What's so strange with a tropical (DAK) General's uniform with a gold thread embroidered breast eagle? There where several Luftwaffe General officers serving in DAK and in the North African campaign that used tropical uniforms...

For example, I'm now looking on a colour photo of Rommel and Generalmajor Stefan Fröhlich, who was the "Fliegerführer Afrika" and consequently wears this described outfit. You have the famous FJ Generalmajor Ramcke, and of course Kesselring himself. There are several photos depicting them in tropical uniform (and breast eagles).

TS Allen as I already pointed out to you several times the word is LUFTWAFFE as it is Air Force and not Air Forca
