Female POW

There is a small reference in "It Never Snows in September" by R J Kershaw to German female auxiliaries being withdrawn from Holland during 1944 due to the advance of the allies. Nevertheless, at least one female was captured by the British at Arnhem and at least one killed during the fighting. Does anyone know what happened at Stalingrad please? I understand that 1/4 million of Germans were captured. Had the women been pulled back at that stage or were any taken prisoner please? If so, what happened to them please?
Thanks
