I just wanted to pass the word that one of our Kameraden is in the hospital. HaEn has been fighting an infection for the past couple of weeks. This afternoon, he went in for surgery. It is anticipated that he will be there for 8 days. When I last talked to him, he sounded pretty good, so he’ll probably be all right. I just thought some of you might like to know.

Hello Folks:
Old combat vets like to bitch up a storm, so the nurses are sure to get an ear full; let's hope Haen sticks to German or Dutch!!! Good Luck Haen!!!!

I read a note from him a little earlier. He's home, so apparently things went well. I'm sure we'll hear from him here in the next few days.
