Hmm, Really wish I had put this in the right place. Oh well.

Anyways, right now I am listening to the voices in my head. I'm trying to drown them out with music though.

There She Goes Now - Nirvana (Velvet Underground cover)

I will have no truck with such degenerate jungle beats and will only tolerate the sounds of strident marching bands in this house!!!

no, i'm messing. Toots and the Maytals! The Meters! Ennio Morricone! Killing Joke! Bring it on I say!

Hi,

DeBaer, do you like 'The Specials'? Rolf, Morricone is quality, eh?

Dive - Nirvana

I do sometimes listen to other bands, not often though! I also love the Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam. And you cant beat a bit of Simon and Garfunkel for some chill out time.

Cheers,

Well, i, of course, do know The Specials, but they're quite "old fashioned" for a youngster like me, so i dont listen to them too often. I've been to a Toasters gig recently, so im just facinated by them right now (it was my first gig ever). Anyway, just give me an upbeat (especially twotone) and im happy.
Foo Fighters are great. I used to listen to them a lot some 3-4 years ago. I remember spending hours on listening to their "M.I.A." or "Everlong" :D

Right now playing:

In The Meantime by Skafield (3rd Wave Ska, or rather Skapunk)

Morricone is genius! His spag western soundtracks are unsurpassed, although other composers such as Luis Bacalov made a good innings in that genre also.

Yeah, The Foo's will always have a special place in my heart, first band I really got into, then I discovered the genius that is Dave Grohl drummed in Nirvana...been really hooked into Nirvana since I first heard 'Man Who Sold the World' from Unplugged. Uplugged is my favorite album of all time, and Everlong is actually one of my favorite songs.

I'm liking the Gorillaz too, but I dont like the newest tune they have out (Dirty Harry)...Loved the last few records though. Cant say I'm cultured enough to heard of Bacalov though, Rolf!

Sadly the greatest front man and musical genius ever is no longer with us...what a damn waste of a life. RIP Kurt.

Almost forgot why I was here! Got to be my favorite Nirvana track of all time.

Lithium - Nirvana

Anyways, apolgies for my rambling music bio, and I really, really wish I had put this thread in Soldatenheim. Sorry Jason!

Cheers,

Edit - Whoops, got the Gorillaz song wrong...Two too many shandy's methinks..
