From West to East

Post by René »

I am currently researching the shift of German units after the campaign in France to the East, from summer 1940 to June 1941.
Does anyone have information on this (lists of dates), especially on Army of ArmyCorps level. Division info is also welcome. On Christophs fantastic site I can find quite some info, but it is fragmentary.

Any assistance welcome !!

Perhaps the nearest original documents to you covering this ground are in the Imperial War Museum in London. This contains a series of roughly fortnightly tables showing the theatre of deployment of all German divisions during this period. I saw them earlier this year.

Hello!

If you have the time go through the daily reports on my site. They show all the transports from France to the east. Maybe it is helpfull although just online until February 1941 yet.
