i see that you are well informed of Wermacht warcrimes igor, that`s really commendable and i`m not disputing your posts. i would like you to answer me some questions. do you have so many facts about the Katin woods massacre of polish army prisoners? the great soviet red army shot how many polish officers and soldiers another issue is the execution of polish esperantists ( civilians who knew esperanto lagungage ) by NKVD just becouse the spoke lagungage that NKVD did`t undrestand treatment of pow by the red army i could go on almost indefinetly. now don`t get me wrong, i`m not trying to play down the german war crimes but i must say that your glorius red army had it`s share of killing

I think I (finally) understand Igors agenda. It is to put so much text on feldgrau servers so that Jason will go bankrupt while trying to pay for all serverspace.

I know that Igor doesn't write all that stuff by himself, he just copy and pastes all over the place...why don't you give us a link so we can read everything from the beggining to the end? And why do you keep postin almost indentical long posts over and over and over and over again?

If you know much about Wehrmacht crimes you almost have to know soviet crimes; why don't you answer his question?

I did some real deep down thinking... And when you think about it their are few people who really have a right to complain about the Germans waring them.

Think about it, The British Empire was built by war same with the french. The USSR had gone on their own little invasions Batlic, Poland and Finland. After the Polish Soviet war the Poles kicked Ukrainians off their land. So those who say Germany was a "mean bully" should look at themselves.

Hi Schachbrett, I think Igor is technically right that Katyn is not directly related to this thread as it was committed by the Soviet Union. On the other hand, the Soviet Union did blame it on the Germans, so Igor would have done well to concede what Russian investigators now admit was the case: The Katyn Massacre of 14,000 Poles was not committed by the Germans. They "only" have to answer for the deaths of about 6,000.000 pre-war Polish citizens - a subject which also belongs on other threads.

FWIW, Katyn was not the ONLY case in which the Soviets did something--and blamed it on the Germans. So I think I have an idea where Schachbrett was going with this...

(Though, technically, Sid is correct in that Katyn was an action that took place in Poland, getting a bit off topic.)

(Just trying to remind all present that Nat'l Socialist Germany--or the rest of the Axis allies--didn't have a monopoly on atrocity counts on the Eastfront. Soviet Forces and Tito Partizans did so too.)
