Hi HvM,
What is all this nonsense about "History is written by the victors"? This is just the eternal whine of losers feeling sorry for themselves.
What is more, it is not even true.
The first ever military historian was Thucydides, who, as an Athenian general, was doubly a loser in the Peloponesian War and yet he wrote that war's definitive history.
History is written by everyone. Have you seen the size of the German and Austro-Hungarian official histories of WWI?
Have you noticed some sort of severe under representation of W-SS divisional histories in English?
Enough whining. Let's just address the facts.

if you grandfather was incorparated in Wehramacht, you will find something there:

They can find all the military history about your grandfather if he is in the archives.
