Hi people

I’m trying to find out the book “Die 15 Infanterie Division im zweite weltkrieg” by Wilhelm Willemer, but without success so far; therefore I must shout for help to those owners of this book or anyone else who can solve my problem.

I intrested in these topics specially: Mogilev, Jelnja bogen and operation “Taifun”.

Also interested in this division. The panzerjager-abteilung is from my hometown. I have a photo of the memorial in the local graveyard.
Thanks,

I know its homestation was WK IX, Buedingen, Oberhessen. The base was later used by US troops and called Armstrong Barracks.

Armstrong Barracks aka Armstrong Kaserne located just outside Buedingen, Germany. While living there 1970-1973, the 3/12 Cavalry and an anti-aircraft unit ?/61 were located there. All buildings on the former German base were in great condition at the time. The base maybe slated for closure under the base reduction plan presently.

Hello AHK,

do you remeber the location of that memorial in Buedingen ?
Was it at the cementary or inside the barracks ?

My hometown is Nidda, maybe you know it.
